Midreshet Rachel v’Chaya does everything possible to make sure that financial need is not a barrier to studying with us. Our Administrative Director works out a customized tuition plan for every accepted student depending on the length of studies and financial need.

What Scholarships are available?
- MASA – MASA, in partnership with the Israeli government and the Jewish Agency gives young Jews in the Diaspora the opportunity to spend a semester or a full year in Israel through financial assistance. For more details about this program, please visit http://www.masaisrael.org/grants.
- AW Scholarship Fund – In March 2004 the AW Scholarship Fund was established for Birthright and Hillel Alumni. The goal of the Scholarship Fund is to assist alumni and give them the opportunity to come to Israel and further explore their Jewish heritage. The scholarship is $400 towards airfare. - Note that assistance may also be available from a student’s synagogue, JCC or Hillel. Scholarships are also often available from local Jewish Federations. Each Federation has its own criteria and application process for scholarships.
- Additionally, students may apply to Midreshet Rachel v’Chaya for financial aid. Assistance is available in the form of generous scholarships and work-study. A variety of scholarships, payment plans, work/study, and moral commitments are available. Financial assistance packages are determined on a case-by-case basis.
