Carly AbrahamsCarly Abrahams grew up in a traditional British Family that placed tremendous importance on Jewish values and Zionism. She was heavily involved with Bnei Akiva from a young age. Her family’s growth into becoming more Torah observant started before Carly’s Bat Mitzvah and this really shaped the beginning of her own growth. She went to JFS (one of the world’s oldest Jewish schools) and went to Poland in year 12 with Aish. It was this along with the influences of Bnei Akiva that inspired her to go to Seminary after high school, studying at Midreshet Harova.

Carly graduated from Birmingham City University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. After her graduation, she felt that she still had more to learn and grow in her Judaism. She chose Midreshet Rachel V’Chaya because she knew that MRC would help her both acquire the skills to independently learn Torah and increase her knowledge of Judaism. Carly shared that “MRC has and continues to help me fill in the gaps in my Jewish knowledge and textual skills that I was lacking. MRC has given me the confidence to continue learning and growing, and to ask questions whenever I get the opportunity.”
